Patrick Rodel also known as RODEL is a queer, Filipino-American DJ from the Bay Area, CA whose sound transcends from hip-hop, R&B, house, trap, soul, bounce - to everything in between.
His love for music began at an early age, two-stepping to his Dad’s vinyl collection of funk and soul, and thus began his musical journey, falling in love with the process of curating soundtracks for friends, burning them CDs to eventually curating for events, leading him to purchase his first DJ controller. During the pandemic, he has shared his love for music through live streaming through Twitch, which served as a safe haven for him. RODEL believes that the power to influence people’s emotions sonically is what sparked his interest the most when it came to DJ’ing.
RODEL’s love for DJ’ing has taken him to prominent cities across the United States, including Los Angeles, San Diego, the Bay Area, Seattle, and Las Vegas. He has opened for Vietnamese American R&B singer Thuy and R&B sensation Lloyd.
